mUDAvadi newfound earthquake

mUDAvadi newfound earthquake, takes the bull by its horn

Mudavadi’s Sunday declaration was complete with sirens and surprises, an 'earthquake' in its own that inspired political temperatures countrywide. But, ‘earthquake’, was it for division and confusion among its members or the so called betrayal of the OKA team?  Musalia Mudavad who was unveiled as the ANC’s presidential candidate, took to the podium amid cheers, delivering a powerful statement in which he criticized the current government, raising alarm over the skyrocketing public debt every now and then, and rising incidences of insecurity in the country among others.

 The earthquake ordeal

İn Kenyan politics today many waited to hear the big announcement ANC party leader Musalia was to make at the Bomas of Kenya which he had earlier termed as an earthquake, at the NDC things transpired speedily only for Kenyans to realize that the promised earthquake was mUDAvadi and Moses Wetangula joining deputy president Dr. William who was secretly invited to the meeting as a surprise.

UDA party leader Deputy President William Ruto made a grand entry at ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi's Bomas Convention. His attendance at the event comes as a surprise as the ANC party had previously dismissed the possibility of his attendance. Led by Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala, ANC leaders noted that Ruto was their competitor and could not invite him to the conventions. “We are only inviting our friends not our competitors. Ruto is our friend but still our competitor. We have not invited him,” Malala said as reported by media.

Contrary to Malala's statement, DP Ruto joined Mudavadi at Bomas where he was expected to officially announce his bid for the country's presidency. Ruto was joined to the event by other top leaders from his UDA party including Garissa Township MP Aden Duale, Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Mandago, Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen, and Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru among others.

Ruto's attendance at the event has, however, put Musalia's relationship with other OKA principals at risk. This is after it emerged that other OKA principals including Kalonzo Musyoka (Wiper), Gideon Moi (KANU) and ODM presidential hopeful Jimi Wanjigi stormed out of the event after they felt uncomfortable (earthquake) with the presence of Ruto at the event. The only OKA principal that was left at the event to witness Mudavadi's endorsement to run for the president was Ford Kenya's party leader Moses Wetangula.

ANC party leader in his speech, Azimio is not an option when it comes to partnerships, that Azimio is about the self-preservation of individuals, wamepoteza frequency na network,” All these were the impacts of the long awaited earthquake.

He also fired shots at the famous March 12, 2018 handshake that brought together His Excellency Uhuru Kenyatta and Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga, accusing the two leaders of sitting on the fence, as incidents of insecurity and cold-blooded murders are reported on daily.

In his statement the former National Assembly speaker Kenneth Marende who joined the Democratic Action Party-Kenya (DAP-K) sounds like an earthquake in the ANC party as he declared to support Azimio la Umoja Movement which is spearheaded by Rt. Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga. Speaking on Monday after joining the new party, Marende said his decisions to join DAP was motivated by ANC leader Musalia mUDAvadi’s newfound union with Deputy President William Ruto. “He has gone to bed with the wrong company and my DNA does not agree with that company. We are not compatible and so from yesterday I and Mudavadi, on the political front, part company,” said Kenneth Marende.

Soon after the events at Bomas of Kenya, COTU secretary general Francis Atwoli delivered message to Mudavadi and Wetangula;

‘Mudavadi, in 1994 while minister for finance, sneaked in the redundancy clause into the Finance Bill of 1994, as suggested by the World Bank, which allowed employers to declare redundancy without consulting workers. So how will he empower workers?

And who told him he's going to be President? Befriending Ruto is not the key to Presidency. He has ashamed the Luhya by allowing Ruto to fund his NDC. As I said earlier, ANC and FORD-Kenya are political commercial kiosks for for mUDAvadi and Wetangula’, said Atwoli.

However, the declaration made by the ANC leader Musalia mudavadi it’s a clear indication as earlier announced that an earthquake hit the whole nation politically and  instead he’s taking the bull by its horn. He betrayed the so called One Kenya Alliance and decided to unite with the United Democratic Party (UDA) which is led by the hustler nation, Deputy president Dr. William Ruto.

Is mUDAvadi’s earthquake taking bull by its horn politically or its going to give him an ample time and opportunity as well a triumphant entry to the State House and become the 5th president of the republic of kenya?
